Attorney Dianne Caramés

Ms. Caramès has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2009 and the Southern District of Florida since 2012. She has worked as an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office since 2010. Ms. Caramès has tried over 50 jury trials and has handled all types of State criminal matters ranging from the most serious of felony offenses to misdemeanor and traffic crimes.

Attorney Dianne CaramesMs. Caramès was born and raised in Miami and is fluent in Spanish. She attended the University of Central Florida for her Bachelor’s degree and obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. Ms. Caramès volunteers her time for different bar organizations. Ms. Caramès is the President of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Miami Chapter, and the Chair of the Miami Dade Bar’s Criminal Courts Committee.

In addition to the Florida Bar, Ms. Caramès is admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida, and has also practiced in Nebraska District Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Eighth Circuit.
